We don't believe the people behind scams and theft are bad. We believe they're stuck. They've learned that the only way to have enough is to take it from someone else. That belief is the real root of scarcity, and it's mistaken: abundance isn't taken, it's created, and it's created by giving, by contributing to a community rather than preying on it.
So Guardigo starts pragmatically, with the alerts and pins that keep travelers safe today. But every report does something quieter, too: it draws travelers and locals into a community that looks out for one another, and that connection is the first crack in the scarcity that drives people to take in the first place.
Our deepest aim is a world that has outgrown the need for us. We measure success not only by how well we protect travelers, but by how much we help heal the conditions that made protection necessary, for travelers and locals alike.
